CURRENT TRIPS -
New Zealand - November 2025
1 PLACE LEFT
A golf trip to New Zealand really is unlike any other.
For those of us travelling from Northern Europe it is certainly quite a long trip to get there. But when you arrive you are greeted by a country of such beauty and such diversity that you instantly know every hour of the flight was worth it. The golf in New Zealand is thrilling, but it is also fairly spread out so I have constructed this itinerary to ensure that we will experience both the great golf and also have the opportunity to see some of the country too.
We will see both wonderful modern courses, like the North and South courses at Te Arai Links and Cape Kidnappers and also classics such as Arrowtown and Paraparaumu Beach. It’s a great trip and I hope you can join.
Ireland - September 2025
SOLD OUT
The Open returns to Royal Portrush next year, and we will be walking in the steps of legends when we play the course just six weeks after the tournament. We will also play Royal County Down - consistently rated one of the very best courses in the world.
Add in rounds at Ardglass, Portstewart, St Patrick's Links, The Island and The European and this has all the makings of a great trip.
We are staying at excellent hotels throughout and several group meals are included. These trips are a great way to meet like-minded souls while enjoying some of the best courses in the world. I hope you can join!
Iceland - June 2025
4 PLACES LEFT
When I set up UK Golf Guy travel I was keen to do something a little different. Of course we would run trips to world famous courses, but I also wanted to take groups to some less obvious places. And I think this one fits that ambition!
Most of the golf is around Reykjavik but we will also head south to the spectacular Westman Island golf course, set in the crater of a volcano. The journey there is half the fun! Another highlight will be Brautarholt to the north of Reykjavik, where almost every hole is either set on the water or with a stunning view.
But it would be wrong to go to this amazing country and just have a golf holiday. So we have built an itinerary which takes in the sights of Iceland too. We will have tours to geysers, waterfalls, lagoons and much more.
East Coast of Scotland - May 2025
2 PLACES AVAILABLE
Scotland is blessed with so many wonderful courses and areas to explore. This trip takes in some of the very best that the country has to offer. We will start in my home town of Gullane, playing rounds at the likes of Dunbar and North Berwick, before winding our way up to the north east. On the way we will play some of the true classics such as Elie and Panmure before finishing in Aberdeen at both Cruden Bay and Royal Aberdeen.
This is a great way to discover not only the great courses of the East Coast, but we will also get the chance to explore the towns and places that make Scotland such a special destination.
The trip includes luxury transportation, comfortable hotels, golf as well as some meals together (and pints for those who want) on the way.
Argentina - February 2025
SOLD OUT
I’m delighted to offer this trip to Argentina in February 2025.
One of the things I love about golf is the places it has taken me to around the world, places I might never have thought of visiting without the lure of a golf course. Argentina will be one of those places.
There will be two centres for this trip – the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires, and the beautiful countryside of Patagonia. And we will play the best golf courses in the country, from Alister MacKenzie’s Jockey Club to the rising star, Deafio, in Patagonoa.
But as well as enjoying some great golf, we will also experience the legendary food, drink and dance that make this country so enjoyable
